Love

How can you measure something that doesn't exist?

How can you measure something that doesn't exist?

That’s the question someone asked at our Awaken the Dreamer Within workshop this Sunday in Chicago. She was referencing her love life as we filled out our fulfillment wheel. Later that night, I was hanging with a friend and we were talking about building relationships.

I started to imagine a healthy relationship being like a really well-knit sweater (cozy, loose but not too loose, giving you all the homey, comfort feels) and an unhealthy one being a little more itchy, irritating, maybe too tight, making you burst at the seams.

Filling Your Cup

Filling Your Cup

Love is a hot commodity, but these days can seem scarce, regardless of whether you're single or not. Perhaps you feel like your love is precious and should only be conserved for those that are most worthy to receive it. Or maybe you give too much love and tend to receive very little.

Well, much like the fountain of life, love is infinite and ever-flowing, but it all has to start with you filling your own cup. Here are some ideas to kickstart your celebration of (self)-love this year.
